ABOUT
Autumn Vann is a Texas-based, contemporary artist known for a vivid, warm color palette in her Fauvistic-like paintings. The subjects of the artist’s work are rather unrehearsed, encouraging the freedom of play and exploration in her artmaking. The artwork is complemented by thick, gestural brushstrokes and imaginative scenes plucked from everyday life.
Along with encouraging exploration and enjoyment in painting, Autumn has used this method to expand and study other mediums such as crochet, pottery, and mixed media.
Autumn grew up in Montgomery, TX where she discovered her love for Art History and the Fine Arts. She is currently working on letting herself enjoy creating in all different art mediums.
In her personal life, Autumn enjoys spending time with her young son and husband, reading thrillers/mysteries, and volunteering.
